The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, as Beneficiary, together with Sapientia University, as Partner 1, with OTP Consulting Romania, as Partner 2 and with the Covasna Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as Partner 3, implements, starting January 2022, the project "Innovative Entrepreneurship for Students - AIS", ID 141067.

BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION RULES
The project aims to develop entrepreneurial skills for 343 students and create 20 businesses through:
- measures to promote an entrepreneurial culture;
- free entrepreneurial training sessions;
- 20 non-reimbursable grants of up to €100,000.
The project "Innovative Entrepreneurship for Students - AIS", ID 141067 is addressed to students enrolled at least in the second year of bachelor studies, master and PhD students, who intend to open a business in urban / rural areas in one of the 7 less developed regions (North-East, Centre, North-West, South Muntenia, South-West Oltenia, West, South-East).
Students involved in the project will benefit from the following:
1. Information sessions and personalised support in order to apply to the project.
2. Improvement of the level of Entrepreneurial Skills, through a 40-hour course, completed with a nationally recognised graduation diploma.
3. Access to non-reimbursable funding / grants of between €40,000 and €100,000 to implement the business plan. In the business plan selection competition, the following will be funded:
- 6 business plans with a maximum value of 40.000 euro;
- 7 business plans with a maximum value of €60,000;
- 3 business plans with a maximum value of €80,000;
- 4 business plans with a maximum value of €100,000.
! 20 business plans will be selected under the project.
4. Personalised mentoring and advice sessions on business plan improvement.
5. Carrying out simulated enterprise-type activities and a 40-hour internship in an enterprise with a similar economic field to the one proposed by the selected business plan.
Note: The interested participant (student/master/doctoral candidate) must not have received similar support in any other project co-financed by the European Social Fund. The interested participant must demonstrate a status compatible with the requirements of the project regarding membership of the target group category (level of education, domicile/residence, field of future business, etc.).
The project "Innovative Entrepreneurship for Students - AIS", ID 141067, is co-financed from the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Programme 2014-2020, Priority Axis 6. "Education and skills", Specific objective 6.13, Innotech Student Call.
